  Felted hat

The felted hat was common throughout the period. Hats in this style are easily available at re-enactment markets and at marketplaces at events. Available in a variety of colours; our group favours green, black and brown.

Also common during the period, this example (left) is made from four separate panels which are then brushed to limit the visibility of seams.
