Notes   King Edward V (reign:1483)

Edward V was of the House of York
Edward V was the son of Edward IV and Elizabeth Woodville.

Edward V's reign lasted only a small number of weeks. He and his younger brother, Richard, Duke of York are popular referred to as 'The Princes in the Tower' (see under Richard III). Having been moved to the Tower of London (not only a prison but also a royal palace) prior to his coronation, Edward V disappeared from public view and little is known of what became of him.
